Last night during dinner I asked Jason if he would teach Jared how to ride his bike with out training wheels soon, so that when we go walking he will pay a little more attention and not rely on the training wheels. So Jason decided that would be Family Home Evening. After we ate Jason immediately went out, took the training wheels off (after he found the correct metric wrench) and we paraded up and down the cultisac. Jared's stopping consisted of slowing down and then jumping of his bike. He was so good at this that he could even land on his feet sometimes. Jason then taught him how to stop and then would run along.
Katie was cheering on from her stroller till she feel asleep.
Michelle and April were praising and cheering Jared on. They got on their bikes and raced up and down with Jared. Pretty soon we had a neighborhood party going. I think Jared enjoyed all the attention.
After a while Jared was obviously tired so when he was about to crash Jason would grab him and lift him up off the bike. The bike would crash and Jared would be on his feet.
Jason had a little fun with the bike riding too.
This morning on our walk he was a little nervous for about 3-4 blocks and then he did so well.
